Why should I cover the radiator/manifold of my R9 with Evotech protection?
A radiator damaged by road debris or unexpected impacts can lead to unwanted breakdowns or costly repair bills. The Evotech radiator/manifold protection kit has a unique design for the Yamaha YZF-R9: precisely moulded for an exact fit, corrugated to follow the curve of the machine, TPU mounting and rubber buffers to cushion the EP radiator protection in the event of an impact. Made from aluminium and finished with a durable powder coating, the hexagonal hole matrix allows for even airflow while maintaining strength.

We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
