What is rear wheel axle protector?
The EP rear wheel spindles for the KTM 990 Duke offer crash protection for both sides of the expensive swingarm. The nylon spool heads, which encase an aluminium core, protrude from the swingarm and help absorb the initial impact of a crash. The innovative design allows the slider to rotate to reduce the load on the machine. Attachment is via the rear wheel spindle with a rolled threaded spindle rod.

If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
