Why install an EP radiator guard?
The hot coolant is pumped from the engine to the radiator, where it is then cooled by the passing airflow before being returned to the engine. As the radiator is positioned to catch the passing air, it is also susceptible to damage from road debris. The KTM 390 Duke EP radiator guard protects the sensitive cooling fins and internal gallery of the radiator by preventing stones and other debris from ‘blasting’ the delicate aluminium construction of the radiator or, worse still, puncturing it and causing leaks. This results in overheating, which can lead to engine damage. The leaking coolant can also get onto the tyres and cause a sudden loss of traction.

General safety instructions for the product:
We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
