Why do I need an EP radiator guard for my motorbike?
Radiators are designed and positioned so that they are not restricted to the open air and passing airflow that cools the engine coolant flowing through the inner radiator core. Unfortunately, radiators are also ‘open’ to damage from road debris. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 EP radiator guard is designed to protect the radiator's delicate cooling fins and internal waterways by preventing stones, sand etc. from ‘blasting’ the radiator's delicate aluminium construction or, worse still, puncturing it and causing leaks. The result is overheating, which in turn can lead to engine damage.

If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
