Is Evotech radiator protection really necessary?
100% yes. An Evotech radiator guard protects the Harley Davidson Sportster radiator from light and heavy damage caused by road debris while allowing cooling air to pass through. The Harley Davidson radiator consists of thin cooling fins and inner cores - the fins can easily bend and block the passage of air, ultimately causing the engine to overheat and lose power. The inner fins can also be punctured by foreign objects, e.g. a stone that is picked up by the front tyre of the motorbike or other road users and thrown directly onto the radiator. The result is a rapid overheating of the engine, and if the slippery coolant splashes onto the tyres, this can lead to a sudden loss of traction.

General safety instructions for the product:
We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
