Why should I fit Evotech touring-style handlebar end weights to my BMW?
The Evotech handlebar end weights (Touring) for the BMW R, made from stainless steel and finished with a durable powder coating, are heavier than the original BMW handlebar ends. The additional weight helps to reduce unwanted engine vibrations, resulting in a more comfortable ride for you. Note: When fitting Evotech handlebar weights, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that the motorcycle’s throttle function (correct play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle grip, etc.) is not impaired in any way. Evotech handlebar end weights are intended exclusively for use with the original throttle cable and original handlebar grips.

We recommend that you always consult a specialist workshop when installing our products or have this work carried out by a specialist. If you fit it yourself, please make sure that your motorbike is secure and that the product is only intended for your motorbike. The models for which the product is tested and intended can be found with each item.
To avoid damage to your motorbike during installation, we recommend covering all important/sensitive parts.
Please understand that we cannot accept any liability for consequential damage caused by improper installation.
When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.

Note: When fitting Evotech handlebar end weights and Evotech brake lever protector kits, the rider is responsible for ensuring that the throttle response of the motorbike (correct play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle valve, etc.) is not affected in any way. Evotech handlebar end weights and Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kits are intended for use with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip only.
