Installing the Evotech side stand extension/raising plate increases the height of the original side stand and reduces the parking angle of the BMW R 1300 GS (DSA option). This addition has many noticeable advantages: increased stability on various surfaces, a larger side stand area and a 12 mm increase in height, which reduces the angle of inclination by 3-4 degrees. The lower plate from Evotech is made of billet aluminium with a corrosion-resistant powder coating. The foot of the original side stand is then secured with a precision-moulded stainless steel top plate. Installation is simple and is carried out according to the online video instructions using all the fasteners included in the kit.

When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
