What is a spindle bobbin crash protector?
Designed to protect the front spindle and lower fork, the EP Front Spindle Bobbins for the BMW R 1200 / 1250 GS are a discreet addition to the front end. Injection moulded from matt black nylon, the bobbins are reinforced by an aluminium interior. Because the two materials are independent, the nylon slider can rotate with the shock absorber to reduce wheel stress and wear on the part. To facilitate assembly, a replacement bolt is supplied, machined to allow the spindle rod to fit through.

When fitting, use threadlocker if possible and observe the torque specifications.
There is no ABE/parts certificate for Evotech Performance accessories. If you have any concerns, you should refrain from buying them. In some cases, bolts for fastening must be replaced with the original bolts. Legally, this could be a problem. We would like to point this out.
