The black spool bodies, which contain an aluminium interior, sit precisely on both sides of the wheel spindle, which is held in place by a spindle rod with rolled threads. The durable injection moulded nylon and aluminium materials are expected to be the first to impact in the event of an accident, reducing costly wear and damage to your bike.
